The Black Sea

Sunset on the first night! With my newly found friend Payaam, we traveled to Batumi, which is on the southern coast of the Black Sea in Southwestern Georgia, very close to Turkey.

It was a stormy day, which makes for beautiful photos!
The Black Sea coast here is mostly rocky, but nice smooth rocks, which are nice to lay on.

There are some spots where the sand peeks out black. "Ebony and Ivory" kept popping in my head.

Beautiful coast line with some Soviet-style apartments in the background.
